Color with me – Castle on the Hill from The Magical City, part four, final

And here the final part! As said in the previous post, do tag your results and WIPs with the brand spanking new #colorwithiris in Instagram so I can see, like and share them! Check out the awesome WIP by Katrine (@alwayscoloring) I found thanks to that:

And now, back to the last video bit, doing the flowers and the water this time.

Stuff used on day four:
Prismacolor Premier pencils (150 set), Prismacolor colorless blender, white Posca in size 3M
Pencils listed in order of appearance. Feel free to use other pencils and/or replace some colorways entirely with something else you like

  • Black Grape
  • Dark Purple
  • Lilac
  • Deco Pink
  • Light Umber
  • Tuscan Red
  • Scarlet Lake
  • Espresso
  • Terra Cotta
  • Cadmium Orange Hue
  • Jasmine
  • Cream
  • 70% Cool Grey
  • Colorless blender
  • Indigo Blue
  • Copenhagen Blue
  • Electric Blue
  • Light Aqua
  • Cloud Blue
  • White Posca in size 3M

Feel free to switch out any colors and you can really use other blues for the water as well or add even more green to it and so on. For even more dramatic results, you can add a bit of the sky to the water, pick out the colors from the whacky sky and add a touch here and there.

End result:

Hope you had loads of fun and once I’m back in filming shape, we’ll do something Basford next cause why not! So cross your fingers for me that the tonsillectomy wouldn’t be too harsh on me! I’m so scared it’s not even funny. Wish I could color my way through it somehow, I’ll color and come get me when it’s all over and recovered, mkay? 😀

All the parts of this tutorial:
Day one – sun, clouds, sky
Day two – tree, castle
Day three – grass, bridge
Day four – flowers, river
